Field ops for restoration contractors

The carrier asks why four techs were on that job Tuesday. The adjuster wants the sheet. Your partner asks if it made money. For as long as you’ve run crews, the honest answer has been the same —

let me find outYou already know.

TruNorth prices the work as your crew does it — every job’s cost, burn and margin live while it’s still open. Nothing reconstructed from paper three weeks after it closed. You stop finding out. You start knowing.

Why you’ve been finding out

Everything else waits for the job to finish.

Billing software

Starts at the invoice. It makes the bill defensible once the work is already over.

Field documentation

Stores the photos and the readings. It doesn't know what any of it costs.

Job management

Tracks status and schedules. The daily sheet is an attachment on a record.

TruNorth

Prices the work as it happens, chases the sheet that didn't arrive, and shows the burn while you can still change the outcome.

Because it’s live, not later

Knowing changes what you can do

When the number lands while the crew’s still on site — not weeks after — the whole job changes. These are the three that make owners switch.

01 — LIVE

Watch the money while it's moving

Every line is costed the instant it's entered. Day nine of fourteen and you already know whether this job makes money — while the crew is still on site.

Who built this

I didn't set out to build software

JG

I run field operations for a commercial restoration company. We did what everyone does — paper daily sheets, a spreadsheet to price them, and somebody's week every month reconciling the two. When a carrier asked why four techs were on site on a Tuesday, the honest answer was “let me find out.”

I went looking for something to fix it and found billing software that starts after the job ends. So I built this instead, and we run our own company on it every day. Every feature exists because something went wrong on a real job and we needed it not to happen again.

Your data stays yours — full export whenever you want it. Rate sheets loaded and crews trained with you, not sent to you. And I'm the one who answers when you call.

JASON GILSTRAP · FOUNDER
So I built the answer. Nobody here says “let me find out” anymore.
